Delaware Opportunities, Inc. is seeking a full-time Housing Advocate to assist homeless and at-risk households in securing and maintaining stable housing. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to advocate for clients in a non-judgmental manner while working both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or 4 years experience in human services Ability to relate well to individuals from low-income households Ability to work independently and as part of a team Integrity, reliability, and professionalism Schedule & Pay
35 hours per week Starting pay: $23.39 per hour Monday - Friday Responsibilities
Assist homeless and at-risk households in securing and maintaining stable housing Conduct client intakes and comprehensive assessments Develop individualized housing action plans Coordinate supportive services including employment, childcare, and transportation Conduct regular client contact and maintain accurate monthly documentation Maintain complete and accurate client files Enter program data and billing information Prepare required reports in a timely manner Attend regular staff meetings Perform additional duties as assigned Job Type: Full-time Benefits
