About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its Investment Banking FinTech division. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of activities, including working closely with various banking teams to organize content and focus on the FinTech sector. This involves keeping up to date with strategic activities, market developments, and investor sentiment specific to the sector. The role also includes being the key contact for the coverage and execution team, developing client presentations, and conducting financial modeling and valuation analysis, particularly in the context of FinTech-specific KPIs. The Vice President will play a pivotal role in transaction execution and must be adept at building strong relationships with clients and colleagues across different regions.
Applicants for the Vice President position should be proficient in financial analysis techniques such as DCF, DEV, LBO, and comparable companies. Expertise in software programs like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is essential, as is experience with MDS platforms such as Bloomberg data, CapIQ, and Factset. The role requires a candidate with strong presentation skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a solid understanding of the FinTech industry, including its metrics, companies, and investors. A minimum of 3 years' relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree or higher from a competitive program, preferably in business, finance, or accounting, are also necessary. The ideal candidate will be able to excel in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and deliver results under tight deadlines.
