About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Credit Officer to provide strategic leadership and oversight of all credit department operations. The successful candidate will be a key member of the company's leadership team, responsible for managing credit policy and performance across various lending sectors. This role involves leading the credit team, ensuring the quality of the lending portfolio, and conducting high-quality credit analysis, including portfolio stress testing and loan loss reserve calculations. The Chief Credit Officer will also be involved in setting and meeting loan growth goals, coordinating external audits, and maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies.

Applicants for the Chief Credit Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' of experience in financial/credit analysis and lending, with a strong background in C&I lending. Management experience is essential, and a formal bank management executive school or financial industry-related degree program is preferred. The role requires the ability to create and analyze credit presentations, business correspondence, and loan policies, as well as the skills to interpret business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures. The ideal candidate will be adept at leading a team, making sound credit decisions, and managing the company's special assets area.
