About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Real Estate Workout. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent management of a diverse portfolio of bespoke illiquid credit investments. This includes the monitoring of business and financial performance, as well as in-depth research and analysis of market dynamics. The role involves negotiating and executing a range of legal documents related to asset management, both in and out of court, and requires a strategic approach to restructuring complex commercial loans and real estate assets.
Applicants must have a minimum of 6-8 years' of industry experience in credit and restructuring roles, with a strong background in special servicing and asset management across various commercial real estate asset classes. The role demands a high level of proficiency in credit, negotiation, and influencing skills, as well as a deep understanding of loan documentation. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment, and the ability to think broadly about business processes with a focus on continual improvement and excellence. Extensive experience in legal collection efforts, including foreclosure, bankruptcy, and UCC foreclosure, is essential, as is the ability to manage and direct legal counsel through complex restructuring processes. The role also requires excellent communication skills, the ability to interact with C-Suite individuals, and a commitment to the highest ethical standards.
