About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Special Assets and Real Estate Workout. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent management of a diverse portfolio of bespoke illiquid credit investments. This includes monitoring the business and financial performance of portfolio counterparties, conducting in-depth research and analysis of market dynamics, and reviewing financial statements and cash flow statements. The role also involves negotiating and executing a range of legal documents related to asset management, both in and out of court, and leading the restructuring of complex commercial loans and real estate assets.

Applicants must have a minimum of 6-8 years' of industry experience in credit and restructuring roles, with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment. The role requires strong fundamental credit, negotiating, and influencing skills, as well as extensive knowledge of loan documents and legal processes, particularly in the areas of bankruptcy and UCC foreclosure. The ideal candidate will have a background in diverse credit structures and complicated illiquid transactions, and possess excellent Excel modeling skills. The position demands a high level of personal integrity, ethical standards, and the ability to effectively communicate with C-Suite individuals. The Vice President will also be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of financial analysts and less experienced associates.
