the production of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout the U.S., Mexico, and beyond. We proudly serve the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice fresh fruit and vegetable industry and are seeking a skilled Account Manager to join our team! Reporting to the General Manager. Overview

We are seeking a results-driven Director of Operations to lead our day-to-day manufacturing and production operations. This role will oversee production, planning, materials management, procurement, food safety, and facilities, and will play a critical leadership role in optimizing performance and driving company growth. Lead and manage operational performance across Farm Direct Supply facilities and 3PL providers, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Champion collaboration across departments (Sales, Farming, Sourcing, and Compliance) to build integrated strategies that support customer excellence and grower service. Develop, implement, and monitor key performance metrics to align cross-functional teams and ensure accountability. Oversee food safety compliance and traceability across all sites in partnership with the food safety team; provide on-site support as needed. Manage operational staff and facility execution to meet customer specifications, industry standards, and internal benchmarks. Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts, including Lean and Six Sigma principles. Ensure procurement strategies are optimized to balance inventory levels and service commitments. Develop and manage operational budgets including labor, capital, and materials. Evaluate and implement emerging technologies that enhance operational productivity and scalability. Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 10+ years of distinguished operations leadership. Demonstrated experience in multi-site facility management, processing, or repack operations. Proven leadership in perishable product environments; experience with dry vegetables preferred. Core Competencies

Highly organized with attention to detail. Excellent cross-functional collaboration and team-building skills. Effective prioritization and time management in fast-paced environments. Technical Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Proficiency in Famous Software is a plus. Familiarity with inventory, ERP, and production planning systems preferred. Travel & Physical Requirements

Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time. Extended travel possible based on seasonal and operational needs. Must be able to lift up to 45 pounds. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. Other Requirements

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to work extended hours, including weekends, on a rotating basis.
