The Director of Spine Sales Operations provides strategic leadership for the division’s sales and financial operations, driving initiatives to grow market presence and increase U.S. market share. This role oversees the design, implementation, and management of incentive compensation programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and consistent execution across the sales organization. The Director partners closely with Sales, Finance, and HR leadership to manage budgeting, reporting, analytics, contests, and market development investments, while also leading teams responsible for master data, billing, and key operational projects. This position combines strategic oversight with operational excellence to support the division’s growth and financial accountability.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Sales Compensation, Sales Finance, Billing & Invoicing, and Master Data Management teams, fostering a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace.
Provide strategic direction on incentive compensation plan design, quota setting, variable expense management, and contract negotiations to support business goals.
Oversee master data integrity, reporting, and analytics, delivering actionable insights to senior leadership and the sales organization.
Drive department-wide projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution of key initiatives.
Partner with Sales, Finance, and HR leadership on commercial strategy, business development, and sales process guidance.
Support revenue forecasting, budget tracking, and market development investments to drive division growth.
Manage operational excellence in billing, invoicing, and OTC activities for the Spine Division and branch operations.
Experience in supporting capital financing and placement efforts.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree, CMA preferred
10+ years of business experience in increasingly complex financial / Sales Operations roles
5+ years of managerial experience, leading staff of increasing size and breadth.
Financial modeling experience
Industry experience with a company that makes and sells products.
Track record of supporting revenue growth through compensation planning, quota setting, and performance management
Experience managing both professional and clerical staff.
Working knowledge of systems such as: Varicent, Power BI, Salesforce, etc.
Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations for sales leadership
Ability to thrive in fast-paced and scaling environments
Ability to optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and productivity
