Overview
Responsible for the customer service provided to potential clients during the admissions process.
Responsibilities
Directs the admissions process
Conducts audits of admissions processes.
Ensure that all sub-acute patients are financially cleared for admission
Conduct tours and maintains tour information
Acts as a liaison between the corporate office, finance department, case managers and admissions
Ensures that accuracy and integrity of the information entered the ADL system.
Manages performance of direct and indirect reports. Provides orientation, coaching, training and development. Takes corrective action when necessary.
Utilizes corporate services resources such as Human Resources, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Information Services, Marketing, etc., as appropriate.
Ensures appropriate staffing and resources to support department/agency services. Monitors productivity throughout the year and participates in annual budget preparation.
Interviews and participates in the selection process for qualified staff in collaboration with Human Resources and department management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare required.
Minimum three (3) years’ experience in marketing in an acute care or long-term care setting.
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Insurance.
Supervisory experience preferred.
