Love Advertising is seeking a PR Account Supervisor (AS) with a proven ability to spark conversations and drive meaningful earned media. In this role, you’ll be the senior PR lead on high-profile accounts, steering PR strategy, guiding and implementing day-to-day execution.

What you’ll do:
Develop and execute public relations campaigns that complement and integrate with clients’ advertising and marketing objectives, goals and strategies
Serve as PR lead on assigned client accounts from campaign planning to writing, media relations outreach, crisis, client status meetings and more
Lead community engagement efforts, including planning and executing outreach initiatives for clients
Provide strong leadership and manage a team of PR professionals
Direct PR activities of PR team members to ensure timely and effective planning and execution
Utilize strong media relations skills to develop and pitch unique story ideas to local, regional and national media across print, online, TV and radio
Build and maintain a network of community and corporate leaders, businesses and organizations to identify meaningful collaborations and partnerships with clients for PR opportunities
Responsible for researching, writing, editing and proofing public relations materials (news releases, PR plans, key messages, statements, scopes of work, pitches, advertorials, op-eds, bylines, news briefs, etc.)
Continually support, inspire and motivate team members to think of creative ways to solve clients’ public relations challenges in a solution-oriented manner
Maintain senior-level client relationships
Keep abreast of trends, changes and breaking news related to clients’ industries and market developments
Media train spokesperson(s) for interview and speaking opportunities
Counsel clients and troubleshoot any issues regarding campaign activities
Prepare, analyze and present PR recaps, POVs, and best practices to clients
Seek new business opportunities with new and existing clients and play a role on the new business/account planning team
Oversee time and financials and flag any overages to the VP of PR, client or Brand Manager
What you have:
5 to 7 years of public relations experience
Industry experience in consumer, B2B, health, retail, food and beverage, energy, corporate, crisis, real estate, etc.
Agency experience preferred
Community relations experience
Strong relationships with local, regional and national media reporters, producers, editors, etc.
Proven track record of securing earned signature stories in print, online, TV and radio
Demonstrated experience working directly with clients on day-to-day activities and building, drafting and executing public relations plans within budget
Ability to think strategically, be a risk taker, be a problem solver and have a passion for storytelling
Strong writing skills with demonstrated expertise in Associated Press
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while mentoring and guiding team members
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple initiatives and priorities within specified timeframes
Excellent oral and written communications skills, including the ability to present to clients
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, and media monitoring, tracking and reporting tools such as Cision, Meltwater, etc.
BA/BS in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing or related field
