Commerce House is looking for a Social Media Team Lead
with a proven strategic mindset and a strong leadership presence. As the Social Media Team Lead, you’ll set direction for social media and influencer marketing efforts across the agency, while overseeing and developing a team of two social strategists. But more specifically, this person will need to: Lead social media strategy and execution across multiple client accounts and industries (healthcare, sports, retail, education, food & beverage, CPG, and more) Oversee and mentor a team of two social media strategists, providing direction, feedback, and support to elevate both performance and thinking Develop, approve, and guide content calendars (approximately 100 pieces of content per month), ensuring quality, consistency, and strategic alignment Manage and prioritize work across multiple social channels and clients, balancing team workloads and deadlines Adjust quickly to news, trends, and cultural moments, guiding real-time content creation and approvals Create compelling social content when needed—writing, designing, and producing quick-turn videos across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Pinterest, X, and emerging platforms Oversee social media analytics and reporting, translating performance data into insights and actionable recommendations for clients and internal teams Serve as a key client contact, leading conversations around strategy, performance, and optimization Lead influencer marketing campaigns end-to-end, including discovery, vetting, negotiations, contracting, and campaign management Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, account, and strategy teams to deliver cohesive, high-performing work Contribute to new business pitches and big-picture digital strategy development Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and best practices—and proactively share learnings with the team Represent Commerce House at industry and community events when appropriate EXPERIENCE 5–8 years of experience in social media, digital marketing, or advertising (agency experience preferred) Prior experience mentoring or leading junior team members strongly preferred TALENTS & SKILLS Confident people leader with a collaborative, supportive management style Strategic thinker with strong executional instincts Highly organized project manager and proactive problem solver Excellent communicator (written, verbal, and presentation) Proficient in Microsoft (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Canva) and/or Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Docs) Familiarity with Adobe InDesign is a plus Apply Now #J-18808-Ljbffr
