Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Augusta Area for a Construction Superintendent. The role includes overseeing and coordinating all phases of construction projects from start to finish, supervising site workers and subcontractors, managing timelines, budgets, and safety compliance, and ensuring adherence to project specifications. The Construction Superintendent will act as the key point of communication between project management teams and on-site personnel to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications
Proficiency in construction management, planning, and scheduling
Strong leadership and team management skills, including the ability to supervise staff and subcontractors effectively
Knowledge of safety procedures, regulations, and compliance in construction projects
Experience in budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation
Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications
Problem-solving skills and the ability to address and resolve issues promptly on-site
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with project teams, clients, and stakeholders
Previous experience as a Construction Superintendent is highly preferred
Relevant certifications such as OSHA, or a degree in Construction Management or a related field, are a plus
