Customer Service Representative California Check Cashing Manteca, CA As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you’ll help people in your community access the financial solutions they need—right when they need it the most. You’ll play a pivotal role in our fast-paced environment by building connections with our diverse customer base and processing transactions (i.e. check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments) while providing exceptional in-store experiences. Customer Service Representative — California Check Cashing, Manteca, CA
As a CSR, you’ll help people in your community access financial solutions when they need them most. You’ll engage with our diverse customer base and process transactions (check cashing, money transfers, and customer payments) while delivering exceptional in-store experiences. Compensation
The hourly wage for the position is $20.00 per hour. The hourly rate is one element of our Total Compensation package.

What You’ll Do – Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Connect with customers to cultivate lasting relationships that drive repeat business. Review, validate, and process customer transactions with accuracy. Maximize customer success by offering personalized financial services that fit their lifestyle. Enter and maintain customer information with precision into a Point of Sale (POS) system. Build new business through daily call campaigns. Assist in customer account management and collections by accepting payments and managing customer appointments. Perform duties outside of the office where applicable (e.g., on-site vehicle appraisals, store errands, external marketing); participate in in-store and community events. Maintain store appearance and cleanliness to enhance customer experience. Maintain office security protocols and perform opening/closing procedures including vault and cash drawer management as needed. Uphold compliance with Company policies, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations. Engage in ongoing training and stay current on product and process changes. Work efficiently in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks to meet individual and team standards. Conduct additional tasks as directed by leadership. Maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance, including weekends (minimum 40 hours per week). Store hours and minimum hours may change; discuss latest requirements with your recruiter.
What We’re Looking For – Qualifications And Skills
A high school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor. Meticulous attention to detail and accurate data entry. Proficiency with phones, POS systems, Microsoft Office, and related computer systems. Must be at least 18 years old (19 in Alabama). Background check required and conducted in accordance with applicable law. Ability to meet the physical demands (standing up to 90% of the time, lifting up to 25 pounds, moving within/beyond the store, operating a keyboard).
Nice To Haves - Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing. Cash handling or cash drawer/vault management experience. Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required for certain locations. Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and access to a personal vehicle (mileage compensated).
