We are currently seeking a qualified Human Resources Specialist to support our growing workforce and help foster a positive and compliant work environment. Position Summary
The HR Specialist will play a key role in supporting day-to-day human resources operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, payroll, and compliance. This position requires a proactive professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive workplace culture. Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency is highly preferred to better support our diverse workforce. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and support recruitment efforts including job postings, screening, interviews, and onboarding Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with federal and state employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, OSHA, EEO, etc.) Support management with employee relations issues, performance documentation, and corrective actions Assist in benefits enrollment, open enrollment coordination, and employee education on benefit options Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate employee reports as needed Help develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and safety programs Translate HR materials and provide support in Spanish when needed Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience) 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in construction or a similar industry Knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and regulatory requirements Strong interpersonal and communication skills High level of confidentiality and integrity Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems What We Offer
