We are seeking an exceptional entrepreneur to make a difference in Westminster, and become our newest Shelter Insurance Agent. Responsibilities
Meet new people, develop new contacts, and become known in your community. Grow your sales, business, and networking skills to new heights. Develop prospects and sell Shelter products in your agency as the main focus of your work. Opportunity to bring on staff to help with general administrative duties and improve sales (as applicable). Support to launch your career, and pursue ongoing professional sales training and development. What is Required / Qualifications
A motivated attitude, an entrepreneurial spirit, and skilled capacity for effectively communicating with clients in a sales atmosphere. While some sales experience and a degree with general business courses is helpful, it is not required. We do not require prospective agents to have capital/assets on hand to be considered for an agency; we provide the opportunity. Shelter does not loan money to start an agency. If you are no longer a Shelter agent, your financial responsibilities are limited to any unsatisfied bills owed through departure (e.g., advertising contracts, telephone bills, utilities).
