Leasing Agent - Contract until March 2027
Pay range: $24-26/hour Location: Sonoma, CA (Fully on-site) The Leasing Agent supports the day-to-day operations of the property and serves as backup for the Property Manager when needed. Overview
Responsibilities
Assist with leasing apartments, move-ins, and move-outs. Maintain waiting list database, filing system, and leasing/occupancy reports. Manage tenant files and address tenant concerns and complaints. Prepare work orders for maintenance staff. Support the Property Manager with the recertification process, including updates to software programs, HUD updates, and timely billing to HUD. Assist with collection of monthly rent and processing deposits. Prepare documents for accounting and administrative processing. Act as Property Manager in their absence. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in affordable housing and/or property management required. HUD and Tax Credit experience preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required; Yardi experience preferred. Strong computer skills in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); knowledge of Yardi software a plus.
