We are hiring for a people-focused Leasing Consultant for our new 55 and older active adult community – Affinity at Kalispell. Through relationship selling, the Leasing Consultant will drive occupancy of the community to meet short-term and long-term leasing goals. You will build strong rapport with prospective and current residents. Responsibilities
Practice professional and relational leasing techniques by connecting with prospective residents through phone calls, emails, walk-ins, and appointments. Receive inbound inquiries while gathering information to build relationships and curate a personalized Affinity experience. Ensure complete and accurate prospect information is collected, entered, and updated in the sales management system. Conduct individualized tours based on each prospect’s needs and interests, utilizing staff, ambassadors, and scheduled tour times. Perform daily prospect follow-up in line with Affinity expectations and standards through calls, next steps, emails, notes, etc. Coordinate depositor-related follow-up and engagement. Maintain a community culture focused on enhancing residents’ quality of life with excellent customer service and a supportive home environment. Support the community by hosting and participating in onsite events for residents and prospects. Build meaningful strategic partnerships with local businesses, service providers, and senior housing communities. Coordinate and participate in offsite sales and marketing events for potential residents and strategic partners. Use on-site property management software to track apartment availability, record traffic and leasing activities, manage resident and prospect data, and capture demographic information. Execute marketing activities and events to drive traffic to the property, including prospect-facing events, referrals, outreach, online and social media marketing, and other property-specific plans. Ensure all online advertisements and postings are accurate and up to date. Evaluate and monitor competitors quarterly to understand the market landscape. Complete and maintain documents for resident and property files, including background/credit checks and liability insurance. Observe the condition of grounds, buildings, and model homes and report maintenance needs to the Community Director. Comply with company policies/procedures and Fair Housing Laws. What We Are Seeking
A relational and influential Leasing Consultant who can build strong rapport and engage with prospective and current residents, while working cohesively with the team. Must be a team player who adopts a “we over me” approach to relationships. Determined, ambitious, and self-motivated. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Preferred experience in residential property management, retail, sales, or customer service. Excellent communication skills; proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing). Strong computer skills, including MS Office, property management software (e.g., Yardi, On-Site), and CRM solutions. Willingness to work evenings and weekends as necessary. High School diploma or equivalency. Valid driver’s license and insured, operable vehicle. Compensation and Benefits
