Director of Financial Reporting

What You’ll Do
Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings (10‑K, 10‑Q, 8‑K, proxy statements)
Oversee technical accounting research and implementation of new standards
Drive accuracy and completeness of consolidated financial statements
Partner closely with audit, finance, operations, and executive leadership
Enhance internal controls, reporting processes, and compliance standards
Lead and mentor a high‑performing financial reporting team
Manage quarterly close and consolidation processes
Support strategic initiatives, M&A integration, and complex accounting matters
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required
8+ years of progressive experience in financial reporting, public accounting, or technical accounting
Strong knowledge of
US GAAP, SEC reporting , and internal controls
Experience leading teams and managing cross‑functional partnerships
Excellent communication skills, especially with senior leadership
Ability to interpret and explain complex accounting issues clearly
Big 4 background strongly preferred
