As a Claims Processing Specialist at FreezPak Logistics, you will play a pivotal role in managing the freight claims process, ensuring effective communication, and driving resolutions. Your responsibilities will encompass the claims/ OS&D lifecycle, from initiation to settlement, with a strong emphasis on customer service and stakeholder relationship management. What You’ll Do
Collaborate with internal departments such as logistics, customer service, and finance to resolve complex claims and disputes. Monitor claims data and generate reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational enhancements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and company procedures related to claims processing. What You Bring to the Pak
Experience:
2-3 years in claims and insurance processing of cargo issues; experience handling total loss cargo damage claims; experience conducting negotiations of claims with represented and non-represented claimants. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Certifications:
Certification in claims management or logistics (e.g., Certified Claims Professional, Certified Supply Chain Professional) a plus Skills:
Strong knowledge of cargo insurance policies, procedures, and regulations; Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS) and warehouse management systems (WMS); Intermediate data analysis skills using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels; Open to thinking/working with an outside-the-box approach. $75,000 – $85,000 annually The range listed is the Company’s good-faith estimate of the annual base salary for this position at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, location, internal equity, and market factors, consistent with applicable pay transparency laws.
