Overview This role owns 50Floor's marketing communications engine in HubSpot—primarily email and SMS. The immediate priority is rebuilding/expanding our lifecycle messaging: architecture, setup, segmentation, workflows, QA, deliverability, and reporting. After the initial implementation phase, the role transitions into steady‑state optimization plus broader day‑to‑day marketing manager responsibilities (campaign coordination, reporting, and marketing ops support). This is a hands‑on execution role that requires someone who can independently build, launch, troubleshoot, and improve HubSpot communications with speed and precision.

Phase Focus: First 60-120 Days (Primary Emphasis)

Take full ownership of HubSpot email + SMS marketing: build, launch, and maintain workflows, campaigns, and audience logic.

Stand up/refresh lifecycle messaging across key moments (engagement, nurture, re‑engagement, missed appointments, win‑back, etc.).

Build segmentation strategy and governance (lists, properties, event triggers, suppression logic, frequency rules).

Establish QA process for every send and automation (links, tokens, personalization, consent/compliance basics, send timing, exclusions).

Implement reporting + dashboards for email/SMS performance (deliverability, CTR, conversion contribution, opt‑out rates, list growth, attribution inputs).

Create a sustainable operating system: templates, naming conventions, testing framework, documentation.

Core Responsibilities (Ongoing) Marketing Communications (Email + SMS) – Primary Owner

Build, send, and optimize HubSpot email and SMS campaigns and automated workflows.

Own deliverability and list health: suppression strategy, engagement management, hygiene processes, and monitoring.

Manage creative + copy execution for HubSpot communications (briefing, editing, assembly, testing, final QA).

Run ongoing experimentation (subject lines, offers, timing, segmentation, message sequencing) and report outcomes.

Coordinate intake and prioritization of messaging requests across marketing + call center, ensuring communications support business goals.

Campaign Execution & Cross-Team Coordination

Manage day-to-day coordination across marketing and call center teams to ensure campaigns are launched accurately and on schedule.

Oversee campaign approvals, ad control requests, and cross-department communication.

Maintain project trackers, templates, and process documentation to improve speed and consistency.

Affiliate & Reporting Support

Support and help manage affiliate campaigns through Impact: tracking, reporting, payouts, and partner coordination.

Produce recurring and ad-hoc reporting using HubSpot, GA4, and Tableau (or equivalent BI).

Provide insights and recommendations based on performance trends.

Marketing Operations

Track spend, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with accounting on monthly marketing reporting.

Support organic social activity as needed (scheduling, moderation), without making it a primary focus.

What Success Looks Like

HubSpot email + SMS programs are fully operational, documented, and scalable (not dependent on tribal knowledge).

Lifecycle messaging is meaningfully expanded and maintained with clear segmentation and clean QA.

Performance reporting is consistent, trusted, and used to drive weekly improvements.

After the initial build, the role has capacity for broader marketing manager execution while keeping comms running smoothly.

Skills & Experience

3–6 years in marketing operations, lifecycle marketing, marketing automation, or campaign execution.

Strong hands‑on HubSpot experience required: workflows/automation, segmentation, lists, reporting, and campaign execution.

Demonstrated experience owning email + SMS programs end‑to‑end (build → QA → launch → optimize).

Strong project management and operational discipline (templates, documentation, process).

Comfort with data and performance analysis; ability to translate results into changes.

Experience with Impact, GA4, Tableau, Google Ads, and Meta Business Manager preferred.

Proficient with tools such as ClickUp, Jira, Asana, or similar.

Education Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field preferred; comparable professional experience will be considered.
