The Sales Manager will focus on our Pizza Hut brand and is responsible for driving local sales growth through proactive market visits, partnership development, event leadership, and structured sales planning. This role will manage several Sales Captains (focused on LSM for 10 stores). You will guide the Sales Captains on sales and partnership acquisitions plus work with on promotional flyers and local events. You will hold them accountable with calendar and data tracking management. In addition, you will keep the Marketing Director appraised on all Local initiatives.

HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: As an integral member of the Team, this position is responsible for:

Manage several Sales Captains (each captain oversees LSM for ~10 stores)

Conduct regular market visits with Sales Captains; tour restaurants and find local opportunities

Create and Manage a calendar for the Sales Captains and yourself; what is the focus each day/week (i.e. visiting X restaurant, working on hotel business)

Create and Manage a sales tracker for the Sales Captains to monitor performance, partnerships, event outcomes, and revenue impact

Research and identify local community sales opportunities; schools, businesses, events, apartments/hotels, and hand off to the Sales Captains to secure

Develop and coordinate promotional flyers and sales materials in alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives

Work with Sales Captains to support and execute special events, including school activations, community events, in-store promotions, and off-site sales initiatives

Update Marketing Director on Local Marketing ideas and Sales Captain’s progress

Track competitor activity and local market trends, providing actionable recommendations

HERE’S WHAT Education & Experience YOU WILL NEED:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field, or equivalent experience

Proven experience in sales management, field sales, or local marketing, preferably in QSR, food & beverage, or retail

Strong organizational skills with experience managing calendars, trackers, and reports

Experience working with schools, community groups, or local partnerships

Proficiency in basic design tools or templates for flyer and promotional material creation

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively with cross-functional teams

Experience in restaurant or franchise-based environments is a plus

Familiarity with local event planning and grassroots marketing

Strategic sales planning and execution

Relationship building and partnership development

Data tracking and performance analysis

Creative thinking with strong attention to brand consistency

Time management and multitasking

Combination of field-based work (market visits, events, partnerships) and office-based planning (remote work)

Flexible schedule may be required to support events, evenings, or weekends as needed

Growth in local sales and partnership-driven revenue

Number and quality of active school and community partnerships

Successful execution of sales calendars and special events

Accuracy and effectiveness of sales tracking and reporting

Contribution to overall marketing and brand objectives

This role plays a critical part in expanding Pizza Hut’s local footprint by combining hands-on sales execution with strategic marketing collaboration, ensuring strong community engagement and sustained sales growth.
