From VMI to procurement, PTSolutions is a full-service provider that accompanies customers every step of the way. We are looking to add an Outside Sales Representative to our team to support growth in the Houston market. In this role, you will develop and maintain business relationships with customers in your assigned territory and help meet and exceed their requirements. Responsibilities
Develop new business relationships with potential and existing customers and meet KPIs related to prospecting and closing deals. Understand customer business models and product needs. Craft solutions for customers that meet and exceed their requirements. Prospect new clients in the assigned territory. Expand sales with existing clients. Act as a subject matter expert on all product lines. Provide reports on progress in the territory and opportunities for growth. Respond to RFQs as necessary. Collaborate with other teams on larger projects to ensure deliverables are met. Pursue VMI opportunities. Notify customers of signature brand products. Work with core supplier target account programs by scheduling sales calls and presentations. Maintain established margin objectives. Encourage customer website usage. Travel when necessary. Other duties as assigned. Required Experience
The most qualified candidates will have CNC machining experience, or experience in industrial distribution or supply chain roles. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Outside sales experience is required. Must be age 21+ to drive a company vehicle. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Proven ability to manage and grow a sales territory. Ability to quickly build relationships with key decision-makers. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Self-directed with high productivity and strong organization. Plans and organizes tasks to achieve goals while remaining calm and professional under pressure.
