
Mackie Myers USA is partnering with a fast-growing consumer goods business to appoint a Sales Analyst into a high-impact, commercially critical role.
This position is ideal for an early-career analyst who wants exposure well beyond a typical reporting role. You’ll sit close to senior leadership, work directly with Sales, and play a key role in shaping how data is used to drive commercial decisions across the business.
This is not a “plug and play” environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable operating with ambiguity, building structure where it doesn’t yet exist, and taking ownership of numbers that matter.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, the Sales Analyst will support sales strategy, broker management, trade spend visibility, and volume planning. The role blends sales operations, analytics, and problem-solving, with genuine influence on how the sales function evolves. Key Responsibilities
Analyze sales performance, broker activity, and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Build clear, commercially focused reporting and dashboards to support decision-making Monitor and analyze trade spend, promotional activity, and broker payments Support volume planning cycles, including exclusive and seasonal SKUs Partner closely with Sales to improve forecasting, planning, and execution Develop presentations and analytical materials for leadership and customer discussions Help design and improve reporting processes as the sales organization scales Act as the go-to resource for ad-hoc analysis and special commercial projects 1–3 years’ experience in a Sales Analyst, Business Analyst, or Sales Operations role Strong Excel or Google Sheets capability; experience with Power BI highly preferred Comfortable working with imperfect data and building structure from scratch Analytical, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Confident communicating insights to senior stakeholders Proactive, self-starting, and motivated to grow with a scaling business
