The Role As a Mid Market Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving continued growth for existing and new accounts, having a major impact on our business and Yubico’s mission. You will generate revenue from sales leads, inbound and outbound calls, emails, and social connections, building relationships with existing and potential customers and managing the entire cycle from initial contact to closing the deals. You will also develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts to drive customer happiness.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Meet or exceed our monthly sales quotas.
Generate revenue from sales leads, inbound and outbound calls, emails, and social connections; manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deals.
Individually prospect to build and manage a robust sales pipeline.
Maintain daily interaction with Salesforce, managing accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to sales department best practices, policies, and procedures.
Develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts to drive customer happiness.
Skills & Experience
5+ years closing experience with B2B software tools or solutions into targeted accounts.
Proven success in meeting and exceeding quota on a consistent basis.
Hunting and developing your region/vertical is a key requirement, as well as working with the Yubico Sales Team.
Ability to manage complex sales into mid‑market and Global 2000 organizations.
A results‑oriented approach that balances a “take charge, do‑whatever‑it‑takes” attitude with teamwork and collaboration.
Background includes executing call plans, orchestrating account‑planning sessions, and effectively executing account strategies.
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.

Salary This role has the annual salary range of $75,000 to $85,000 plus $75,000 to $85,000 target commission for a candidate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. For roles that are filled in other locations, the compensation range will be based on data provided by the Radford McLagan Compensation Database from Aon.
