Overview
Fabrik is seeking a warm, organized, and highly reliable In-Space Experience Lead to support and steward our first Chicago location. As the first on‑ground hire, this role is both operational and foundational: you’ll ensure the space runs smoothly day to day while working in close partnership with our Community and Market Director to help build, document, and refine the Chicago playbook.
You’ll be responsible for holding a high standard of care in the space during staffed hours, from hospitality and member support to space readiness and gathering execution, while also contributing real‑time insights about what’s working, what’s needed, and how Chicago members use the space. Your observations and feedback will directly inform how Fabrik shows up in Chicago going forward.
This role is highly member‑facing and requires strong emotional intelligence and presence. This role is rooted in presence, hospitality, and operational excellence. Long‑term engagement strategy, growth, and programming direction are owned by the Chicago Director, but your lived, in‑space experience will help shape how those strategies are adapted locally.
Core hours are typically 5:00 – 9:00 pm, with potential daytime shifts as needed.

Communicate with members via Slack and e‑mail as needed
Track space usage, attendance, and daily engagement touchpoints
Partner with the broader Fabrik team to address member needs and improve experience
