
Continuous Improvement Manager

Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Continuous Improvement TPM Implementation Leader in Cincinnati, OH area! The candidate will be responsible for initiatives that enhance safety, quality, reliability, and customer satisfaction across manufacturing plants and distribution centers. This role is critical in embedding a culture of Continuous Improvement and a focus on Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.
Responsibilities:
Lead and support CI Leaders at Manufacturing and Distribution locations through certification training and implementation assistance. Drive productivity improvements by integrating Voice of the Customer feedback into CI initiatives. Assist teams in eliminating waste, reducing process variation, and lowering operational costs. Coach and mentor teams on CI tools, Lean principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and TPM best practices. Facilitate best-practice sharing across plants and DCs, serving as a liaison for CI and TPM initiatives. Support and monitor Total Process Control (TPC) problem-solving methodology. Develop glide paths and action plans, monitor reliability metrics, and optimize asset utilization. Provide engineering guidance for Vertical Start-Up (VSU) projects to ensure CI and TPM goals are achieved. Lead efforts to reduce changeover times and improve equipment uptime. Partner with internal and external consultants to accelerate CI and TPM implementation. Uphold safety, quality, and regulatory standards while promoting our Customer 1st strategy. Supervise and coach direct reports, providing feedback and performance reviews. Requirements:
5+ years of experience in manufacturing/distribution operations with strong Lean and CI background. Proven experience in TPM implementation and sustainment. Strong leadership skills with a track record of driving CI initiatives across multiple sites. Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. Ability to analyze data, apply statistical methods, and develop actionable insights. Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt. Experience leading CI programs in diverse product lines and high-volume environments. Competence in training methods and materials development.
