Blizzard Entertainment’s Hearthstone Marketing Team is looking for an
Associate Brand Marketing Manager
to support Hearthstone’s global publishing and product marketing initiatives. We are seeking someone with strong organizational and project management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working cross-functionally. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about marketing and gaming. Key Responsibilities
Assist the Brand Marketing team in managing Hearthstone’s creative pipeline, creating content across consumer touchpoints, including owned and operated channels, storefront, and social media. Champion Brand Marketing projects directly with internal creative partners and external agency partners to ensure all communications materials deliver against the creative strategy. This includes briefing external partners, gathering assets, and managing the day-to-day of external and internal creative partners to operate at optimal levels. Collaborate on driving project management pipelines for overall schedules and deadlines and review agency estimates for services. Help manage trafficking/approvals processes and asset needs and distribution to international offices. Participate in creative briefings and attend subsequent creative reviews to provide feedback and direction. Communicate and motivate cross-functional teams around a single strategy. Collaborate with key development team personnel on go-to-market strategies and creative asset development. Able to learn new markets quickly and adjust to changing market dynamics and competitive landscapes. Assist the Brand Marketing team in creating messaging strategy and writing copy for owned and operated channels and storefront. Player Profile
Minimum Requirements Experience:
5+ years of experience in marketing, creative agency account management; mobile publishing experience is a plus Project Management:
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strategic and creative thinking Communication:
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external agencies; clear feedback, exceptional written and verbal communication Detail-Oriented:
Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize tasks under shifting requirements and deadlines Team Player:
Ability to balance and blend the needs of various departments and team members into effective strategies Organizational Skills:
Excellent time-management and organizational skills Critical Thinking:
Strong critical thinking skills and professional handling of social conflicts Passion for Gaming:
A passion for gaming on PC and mobile Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or a related field Flexibility to travel, which may be required in this role Pluses
