Mission Blizzard Entertainment is looking for a

Social Media Manager

to guide Hearthstone’s global social presence through thoughtful coordination, cross‑functional integration, and stakeholder management. The role plays a critical part in bringing our brand to life for players, aligning internal stakeholders around best‑in‑class social activations tied to brand and product campaigns, and partnering with community and influencer teams to ensure strategic continuity and franchise integration.

Key Responsibilities

Be a Hearthstone expert: Liaise with other departments to support content releases and align brand, product, and campaign priorities that inform social media planning.

Global channel ownership: Oversee the operation of Hearthstone’s social channels across X, Bluesky, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitch.

Develop and execute social engagement strategies: Craft and implement measurable social strategies for pre‑launch, launch, and post‑launch phases to influence game visibility and engagement.

Player interaction: Monitor social sentiment and manage real‑time responses with players to boost engagement.

Brand guardian: Ensure social media programming reflects Hearthstone’s brand voice, franchise goals, and campaign timelines.

Analytical focus: Leverage analytics tools to measure campaign performance, identify opportunities, and inform future strategies.

Stay trend and culturally savvy: Maintain visibility of new and ongoing trends and platforms within the social environment.

Cross‑functional collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams to gather timely inputs for content planning and campaign activations, and provide social media input in marketing projects and expansion retrospectives.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of trading card games and Hearthstone and Warcraft product knowledge.

8+ years of Social Media Management experience with measurable impact.

Project management skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strategic and creative thinking.

Communication skills: Experience working with developers and communicating complex concepts in a player‑friendly manner.

Detail‑oriented and able to prioritize tasks under shifting requirements and deadlines.

Team player with strong collaboration across departments.

Organizational skills with excellent time‑management.

Exceptional written and verbal communication.

Critical thinking skills and clarity in communicating challenges and resolution.

Passion for gaming on PC and mobile.

Industry knowledge: Awareness of mobile gaming behavioral trends and familiarity with Sprinklr, Tableau, Monday.com, and other project management tools.
