Responsibilities
Work closely with the Head of Design through all phases of line creation and execution. Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, prints, trims and techniques, and seeking design inspiration. Collaborating with team members to create new concepts, make edits to the line Ensuring product agrees with business strategy Creating seasonal detailed sketches for new development Creating CADs, mood and color boards for presentations for presentations. Selecting fabrics and trims Managing design processes from conception through production. Ensuring development of products and production follows the needed timeline. Review and approve items such as lab dips, fabric swatches, protos. Attend fit sessions. Attend photo shoots. Collaborating with technical designer to ensure development packages are accurate. Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation. Qualifications
5+ years’ experience in apparel industry. High Proficiency in Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge and experience in Men’s Outerwear. Understanding of the specialty market and technical outdoor garments. Knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Office, PLM, PDM. Strong fashion and color sense of the Men’s market. Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills with high attention to product details. Ability to communicate and interact with all cross functional teams.
