Responsibilities

Solicit and secure new business contracts for automotive components by effectively working with customer purchasing agents and engineers. Introduce manufacturing capabilities including extrusion, co-extrusion, roll-forming, bending, stamping, injection molding, and various surface treatments. Deliver exceptional customer service to identify and secure future business opportunities. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and internal teams, including production, engineering, purchasing, quality, and accounting. Maintain full accountability for assigned customer accounts, including relationship management, issue resolution, cost targets, and delivery of competitive, high-quality products. Review product design issues with the customer’s product engineers to understand their business needs and objectives. Liaise with newly generated and prospective customers’ purchasing agents. Analyze and negotiate quotes and cost estimates to optimize margins while remaining competitive. Develop and conduct presentations to key customers and internal management personnel as needed. Represent the company’s business policies in various conferences, trade fairs, and networking events. Track and provide timely reports on sales activities (prospects, projections, strategies, program status, etc.) Manage documentation and coordination for new product and program launches. Lead customer cost-reduction initiatives, including quote review, profitability analysis, and negotiation. Qualifications

5+ years sales management experience with a Tier 1 Automotive Supplier. Requires current experience working in a business development and sales account management capacity focusing on Hyundai as the OEM. Bi-lingual in Korean and English strongly preferred Ability to communicate, listen, negotiate and present effectively at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated working knowledge of IATF standards and requirements. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. Must be professional and productive, with emphasis on quality and safety policies. Experienced in the use of automotive Tier 1 manufacturing tools, materials, and equipment in high-volume, OEM-driven production environments. A track record demonstrating a commitment to customer service, and successful teamwork A positive attitude, confidence, and the expectation to succeed. Knowledge of SAP for sales planning and reporting is a plus. Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in business or engineering from four-year college or university.
