Camp Director

to lead our summer SCAMP program. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, staff leadership, camper experience, safety, parent communication, and program execution. The Camp Director is the on-site leader who ensures camp runs smoothly, staff are supported, and kids have an unforgettable summer. If you’re energetic, organized, great with people, and confident leading a team—this is a high-impact leadership role in a fast-paced and fun environment. Responsibilities

Program Leadership & Daily Operations Lead day-to-day camp operations including schedules, transitions, activities, and special events Maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for all campers Ensure programming is age-appropriate, fun, and aligned with Elite standards Manage supplies, set-ups, clean-up, and space scheduling within the club Staff Leadership & Development Recruit, train, and supervise camp counselors and support staff Create weekly staff schedules and manage coverage needs Coach staff on behavior management, communication, and activity leadership Provide daily direction, feedback, and performance accountability Camper Experience & Behavior Support Oversee camper group placement, attendance, and daily check-in/check-out procedures Support counselors with behavior management and conflict resolution Create a positive, inclusive camp culture where every child feels welcomed and supported Parent Communication & Customer Service Serve as the primary point of contact for parents during camp hours Handle questions, feedback, and concerns professionally and promptly Communicate updates, schedule changes, and important information clearly Safety & Compliance Maintain required camper ratios and uphold safety procedures Partner with club leadership on incident documentation and follow-up Ensure staff follow all policies related to supervision, pick-up/drop-off, and emergency response Qualifications Experience working with kids ages 5–13 (camp, youth programs, education, coaching, etc.) Prior leadership experience (supervising staff or running programs strongly preferred) Strong communication skills with both children and adults High energy, dependable, organized, and able to handle busy days Ability to be on your feet and actively engaged throughout the day CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain) What We Offer
