Desired Qualifications: 21 Years Old; CPR, First Aid, Lifeguard Certifications
Experience: At least six weeks experience in a supervisor position at similar waterfronts
Lake Director Responsibilities:
Planning and carrying out a program of lake activities, including sailing and canoeing Inventorying existing equipment and presenting requisitions for necessary equipment before camp opens Outlining and enforcing measures for lake safety for every person in camp, including staff members, visitors, and members of the service staff in line with American Red Cross (ARC) standards Coordinating all trips and activities related to boating with the total camp program and with unit leaders and their plans Providing for and teaching some of the classes in sailing and canoeing Supervising lake assistants in the teaching of sailing and canoeing Taking care of canoes, sailboats, the lifesaving equipment and other lake equipment Keeping records, making reports, making inventories of equipment in relation to lake activities at the close of camp
