Position Overview New Healthcare Finance Organization is hiring Medicaid Enrollment Specialists to work with a local Upper Manhattan Hospital to enroll eligible patients into the Third Party Health Insurance Premium Payment Program (HIPP). Salary: $65,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Create a positive patient/client relationship and serve as the onsite contact of our organization.

Develop and maintain relationships with patients, key hospital personnel and other appropriate individuals.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nursing, Education, or Psychology preferred; Master’s degree preferred.

Preferred: five years of internal patient‑related, hospital experience.

Positive, enthusiastic, can‑do attitude and ability to work with a variety of people.

Demonstrated history of success in sales and healthcare strongly preferred.

Ability to speak English; Spanish fluency is a big plus.

Ability to be onsite most days and adapt schedule to accommodate patients.

Must pass hospital credentialing including all required vaccines, drug & alcohol testing.

Experience with NY Medicaid preferred.
