Work brings deeper motivation, purpose, and fulfillment to our lives. As a Sales Market Manager , you will act as the "quarterback" for the Minneapolis market- bringing together internal partners, dealer teams, and clients to drive growth and strengthen Steelcase's presence in the region.
Primary Job Duties & Role Objectives
Serve as the primary Steelcase market leader and trusted partner to dealers, collaborating on business development strategy and execution
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and market influencers through consistent in-market engagement
Provide leadership and coordination across CBM, ADM, and vertical market partners (e.g., healthcare, education)
Set aligned goals with dealers and internal teams, and drive disciplined execution against those plans
Navigate and resolve conflict constructively, fostering trust and collaboration across diverse stakeholders
Contribute to a highperforming, teambased culture grounded in creativity, productivity, commitment, and collaboration
Role time allocation is approximately 60% external client/influencer facing, 20% dealer collaboration, and 20% internal partnership.
Minimum Qualifications
Experience in businesstobusiness sales with demonstrated expertise in the contract furniture, built environment, or commercial interiors industry
Proven ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders
Strong communication, relationshipbuilding, and influencing skills across varied audiences
Desired Skills and Experience
Experience working within a dealerbased or partnerled sales model
Ability to lead through influence in matrixed or collaborative environments
Demonstrated leadership presence, including the ability to command a room and inspire confidence
Desire to work in, and contribute to, a true teambased selling culture
