Job Description The Communications Manager is a dynamic, organized, and creative professional responsible for driving holistic communications strategies. This role is ideal for a strong writer and storyteller with a passion for engaging employees and amplifying the organization’s brand voice. The Communications Manager’s primary focus will be on internal communications—content development, intranet management, and employee engagement—while also supporting key brand initiatives.

Key Responsibilities Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

Develop, curate, and deliver compelling content for internal channels (intranet, emails, digital platforms) that informs, inspires, and aligns with organizational goals.

Build and maintain an engaging content calendar, spotlighting people, events, new launches, leadership, etc.

Measure and analyze the effectiveness of internal communications, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Own internal engagement events (hybrid and in-person), coordinating both programming and logistics (i.e. Town Halls, company-wide events and initiatives).

Support leadership communications, including announcements, town halls, and partner events.

Act as a SharePoint/intranet site owner, guiding teams on best practices and content development.

External Communications & Brand Support

Write clear, compelling messaging for both internal and external audiences.

Contribute to campaign narratives, creative asset curation, and documentation.

Maintain press and speaking trackers, announcement calendars, and media contact lists.

Collaborate on organic social media content and strategy, ensuring consistency and engagement.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in communications, PR, marketing, or related field, with a strong focus on internal communications and content development.

Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills; ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.

Strong organizational and project management skills; able to manage multiple projects and timelines in a fast‑paced environment.

Proactive, resourceful, and self‑motivated with a growth mindset and desire to drive change.

Experience with internal communications platforms (e.g., intranet, SharePoint), Adobe Creative Cloud, PowerPoint, and Microsoft applications (including Copilot); ability to learn new technologies as needed.

Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Innovative, detail‑oriented, and comfortable balancing proactive planning with reactive needs.

Location New York - 150 E 42nd

Salary Annual salary range: $68,000–$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.
