What You'll Be Doing
Manage electrical, lighting, plumbing, and HVAC accounts for Fortune 500 companies
Work with Sales to gather Service Level Agreements and agreed pricing documents
Set up and conduct customer orientation meetings with Sales, Support Center, Operations, and Accounting to properly onboard customers
Provide customers with status of assigned work orders, scheduling of technicians, parts on order, or any other relevant information regarding completion
Submit work order quotes to customers and follow up to obtain approvals
Generate weekly reports on all open work orders and follow up to ensure they are completed to customer satisfaction
Manage the growth and retention of assigned accounts
Identify cost‑saving opportunities for customers by analyzing type and frequency of work orders
Conduct periodic visits to assigned customers, including field visits to inspect the service level of their work orders
Handle all escalated calls and research the problem to determine issues affecting the customer
Conduct monthly audits of quotes and invoices to ensure they follow customer requirements
Generate various monthly KPI reports measuring our success against customers’ Service Level Agreements
Conduct monthly conference calls with customers to ensure a positive ongoing relationship
Work with Service Managers and Project Managers on a daily basis to support customers
Work with the Accounting department on billing issues and ensure customers are invoiced in a timely manner
Act as liaison for internal and external communications with assigned accounts
Other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
5+ years of experience in a high‑volume commercial electrical, plumbing, or HVAC service industry as an Account Manager, Service Manager, or Project Manager
Ability to prioritize tasks according to deadlines and urgency, completing them in a timely and professional manner
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in a professional, courteous, and knowledgeable manner
Ability to multitask using several screens/browsers while talking on the phone and navigating through systems
Ability to comprehend, summarize, edit, and effectively communicate work order instructions
Ability to create, edit, and analyze Excel spreadsheets, Word documents, PDF files, and PowerPoint presentations
Must be proficient in the use of Excel
