Cync Software
Content & Social Lead (Fintech / Lending)
Cync Software, Herndon, Virginia, United States, 22070
Cync is looking for a hands‑on builder who can own content end‑to‑end and turn deep fintech expertise into consistent, high‑impact storytelling—primarily on LinkedIn with extensions to website, email, ads. This role blends strategy with execution: you’ll plan, create, ship, measure, and iterate.
What You’ll Own End‑to‑End Content Production
Continuously produce high-quality content across formats: short‑form video, LinkedIn posts, ads, landing pages, emails, blog posts, and case studies.
Turn raw inputs (customer interviews, sales calls, product demos, transcripts, Slack threads, founder POV) into polished, on‑brand assets—fast.
Maintain a consistent publishing cadence across LinkedIn and supporting channels.
LinkedIn‑First Growth
Build and execute a LinkedIn content engine for Cync: thought leadership, product education, customer proof, and founder‑led narratives.
Develop repeatable content series (e.g., lender workflows, deal stories, product drops, POV on fintech trends).
Write and test hooks, formats, and CTAs that drive reach, engagement, and inbound demand.
Video & Visual Storytelling
Capture, edit, and ship short‑form video weekly: customer clips, testimonials, feature explainers, demos, founder content, and social snippets.
Deliver video creative for ads, website sections, case studies, and product launches.
Run lightweight video shoots (remote or in‑person), plan interview questions, and manage editing workflows.
Maintain and improve the Cync website with fresh, clear, conversion‑oriented content.
Own an ongoing pipeline of blogs, guides, playbooks, and help‑center content.
Translate complex lending workflows (origination, underwriting, spreads, collateral, compliance) into simple, helpful educational materials.
Repurpose & Amplify Internal Knowledge
Build internal libraries of reusable assets: testimonials, quotes, clips, visuals, ad hooks, and messaging blocks.
Ensure consistent tone, narrative, and positioning across all content.
Identify CYNC’s true expertise and commercialize it through content that drives trust and demand.
What We’re Looking For Core Requirements
3–6+ years of content marketing experience, ideally in SaaS and/or Fintech.
Proven ability to own and scale a content pipeline independently.
Strong writer with a clear, approachable voice—able to explain complex lending concepts without dumbing them down.
Comfortable on video and around video: planning interviews, writing questions, basic editing.
Demonstrated experience driving inbound demand with content (and able to speak to what worked and what didn’t).
Proficient with AI tools for content (ChatGPT, Claude, repurposing tools), with good judgment on when to use AI vs. write from scratch.
Highly organized and reliable; able to manage multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines.
Bonus Points
Experience in lending, fintech platforms, or adjacent fintech infrastructure.
Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
What Success Looks Like (6–12 Months)
CYNC has a consistent, recognizable LinkedIn presence that drives engagement and inbound leads.
A repeatable content engine is in place for video, posts, and long‑form assets.
Website content clearly communicates Cync’s value and expertise in modern lending.
Internal knowledge is transformed into scalable, reusable content assets.
