Responsibilities
Working with some of our largest and most strategic accounts to create and maximize revenue generation within Akamai's most important customers in emerging markets. Grow relationships through additional Akamai high value solutions and strengthen these at all levels of customers, including executive staff. As a Strategic Account Executive, identify, develop and qualify leads within driving sales opportunities through cold-calling, partner-selling, lead generation and social selling techniques. Run a 100% hunter motion focused on landing new enterprise logos. Deliver joint value propositions through in-person meetings, conference calls, sales activities, trainings and other events. Be a trusted advisor to our customers and lead the integrated account team to deliver success. Champion and maintain trusted high-level relationships with customers and field teams through business understanding and knowledge. What you’ll need
To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree. Have a proven track record at selling healthcare enterprise-class technology software, SaaS, internet-based technology solutions to enterprise class companies. Have demonstrated experience selling into strategic accounts. Be well-versed in engaging, influencing and building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the business. Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - The On Target Earnings (OTE, base salary + commissions) for this position ranges from $189,800 - $394,200/year; a candidate’s OTE is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP). Akamai provides industry-leading benefits including healthcare, 401K savings plan, company holidays, vacation (in the form of PTO), sick time, family friendly benefits including parental leave and an employee assistance program including a focus on mental and financial wellness; Eligibility requirements apply.
