As part of a long-term impact and sustainability strategy, the organization is launching a mission-aligned initiative built around its AI-driven simulation platform to accelerate teacher performance. BranchED is also expanding its core nonprofit offerings through multi-year philanthropic investments and fee-for-service engagements. Over the next three to five years, BranchED aims to grow revenue from $10M to $15M, while increasing its institutional reach from 300 to 500+ partners and serving preservice and in-service teachers each year./ppThe Vice President, Development Strategic Partnerships (VP) leads the organizations external presence and partnership strategyoverseeing brand, communications, and institutional partnerships to elevate visibility, engagement, and revenue. This role aligns storytelling with strategy: ensuring the organizations mission, programs, and impact resonate across audiences, including funders, partners, and the broader public. In addition, the VP drives growth in individual and corporate giving by cultivating relationships, partnerships, and philanthropic investments that expand the organizations reach and long-term sustainability./ppThe VP also provides strategic oversight of development operations, ensuring that fundraising systems, data, and stewardship processes are efficient, accurate, and support relationship-based fundraising. The role manages a team of several staff and key contractors around communications, events, and grant writers./ppResponsibilities/pulliIndividual and Corporate Giving Strategy and Execution (25%)/liulliDevelop and lead a comprehensive strategy to grow individual and corporate giving, aligning philanthropic investments with brand partnership opportunities and organizational priorities./liliCultivate and steward relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporate leaders, and partners to drive major gifts, sponsorships, and long-term commitments./liliDesign and oversee integrated campaigns that connect storytelling, marketing, and donor engagement to deepen loyalty and increase lifetime value./liliPartner with the CEO, Board, and Development leadership to identify, solicit, and close transformational gifts and partnerships./liliBuild a culture of generosity and partnership across the organizationbridging marketing, programs, and development to deliver exceptional donor experiences and measurable impact./li/ulliBrand, Marketing Communications (25%)/liulliLead the design and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy that builds awareness and trust among key audiences./liliCollaborate closely with the CEO and senior leadership to design and implement an executive communications plan that advances thought leadership, amplifies visibility, and aligns with organizational priorities./liliOversee the creation of consistent, compelling content, such as digital, print, media, and thought leadership. Align content with the BranchEDs mission and values./liliDevelop marketing and fundraising collateral and manage external creative partners, including graphic design vendors, to ensure high-quality, on-brand publications and materials./liliManage media relations, public positioning, and messaging for campaigns, events, and announcements./liliPartner with program teams to translate impact data and stories into strategic communications materials./liliOversee digital channels (website, social media, newsletters) to drive engagement and conversions./li/ulliStrategic Partnerships (25%)/liulliDevelop a partnership strategy and manage strategic alliances with peer organizations to advance shared goals./liliSupport co-branded initiatives, sponsorships, and public-private partnerships that amplify mission reach./liliIdentify and cultivate relationships with leaders in philanthropy, education, edtech, innovation, and social impact ecosystems./liliNegotiate partnership agreements, deliverables, and mutual value propositions./li/ulliEvents Engagement (15%)/liulliLead planning and execution of all program events and community outreach activities./liliEstablish a calendar of high-impact events with clear metrics for success./li/ulliStrategic Leadership (10%)/liulliServe as a member of the leadership team, contributing to organization-wide strategic planning and decision-making./liliEstablish and monitor KPIs for marketing, communication, events, partnerships, and development operations to ensure measurable ROI and continuous improvement./li/ul/ulpProfessional Experience/pulliLeadership/liulli10+ years of progressive leadership experience in marketing/communications and partnerships, ideally in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations./li/ulliMarketing and Partnerships Expertise/liulliDemonstrated success in developing and managing strategic partnerships and high-value giving portfolios, including individual philanthropy, corporate sponsorships, and cause-aligned brand collaborations that drive visibility, engagement, and sustainable revenue growth./liliExpertise in brand management, multi-channel marketing, and high-profile event execution./liliStrong writing, public speaking, and relationship-building skills./liliExperience managing teams and budgets across multiple functional areas./liliForward-thinking mindset with comfort in innovation and data-driven decision making./liliFamiliarity with CRM (Salesforce), donor management, and digital marketing tools./liliAbility to work effectively with board members, high-net-worth individuals, and cross-functional teams./liliCapacity to be a visible ambassador for BranchED./li/ulliMission Alignment and Adaptability/liulliDeep commitment to BranchEDs mission, values, and work to advance educational opportunity and excellence.
