This position is located at Naval Health Clinic New England, Newport, Rhode Island. Duties
Serve as point of contact on health benefit programs. Provide information about enrollment in Tricare. Provide medical claim appeal procedures/processes to beneficiaries. Review military personnel orders and letters of authorization for medical treatments. Contact beneficiaries to resolve inconsistencies with documents or incomplete data to support medical/dental claims. Assist beneficiaries to access care or other benefits under other medical programs. Requirements

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation. A Personnel Security Investigation is required. This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required. Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption. Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position. Qualifications

OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in the field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as healthcare administration, healthcare management or case management. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
