Sports Tourism is dedicated to improving quality of life through exceptional parks, facilities, events, and recreational opportunities for all./ppPerformance Responsibilities:/pulliIs responsible for the opening and/or closing duties of the cart barn and practice range./liliMaintains a professional appearance and attitude with golf shop customers and other employees./liliDemonstrates professional verbal communications./liliEnjoys working in a team environment./liliMaintains excellent customer service skills./liliRemains informed of daily/weekly events at the course./liliPossesses ability to solve disputes/complaints with customers./liliReports verbal and/or written concerns to the Director of Golf./liliStages golf carts on expected play for the day./liliMaintains clean golf carts before and after use./liliNotifies staff of any golf cart damage./liliMaintains necessary numbers of range balls based on daily use./liliPerforms minor golf cart maintenance./liliMaintains basic record keeping as well as service/preventive maintenance records./liliAssists Director of Golf with various tasks./liliMaintains a safe and productive work environment./liliPromotes golf course and facilities./liliEffectively communicates with all golf course and CPRST staff./liliActs as a team member with other CPRST staff, embracing and supporting the vision and mission of the CPRST Board of Directors and the City of Cullman./liliMaintains sound business and financial procedures in accordance with Federal and State laws, and CPRST system policies./liliMaintains professional internal and external relationships in keeping with CPRST core values./liliWork hours may vary, which will include nights, weekends, and some holidays, with hours varying based on time of year, events, and projects./liliExhibits a high level of professionalism and ethics, working amicably with the Park Board, the Executive Director, Administrators, Personnel, and Community./liliExhibits proficiency in written and oral communication./liliAttends all meetings as required by supervisors./liliPerforms other duties as assigned by supervisors./li/ulpWorking Environment: Work exposes employee to adverse weather conditions and hazards associated with parking lot traffic, exposure to electricity, chemicals, and fumes./ppPhysical Demands: The physical demands for this position are mostly sedentary. Standing for prolonged periods of time, walking, bending, stooping, and carrying moderately heavy items may be required. Must be able to routinely lift twenty-five pounds without assistance./p/div
