divh2Bankruptcy Account Agent/h2pThe primary job function of this position is handling inbound/outbound calls for Westlake, Wilshire and Western Funding bankruptcy customers. Bankruptcy Associates are responsible for ensuring that bankruptcy customers receive professional service while answering their questions and concerns as well as maintaining compliance with bankruptcy requirements./ppBankruptcy Associates will closely interact with Bankruptcy Specialists, other departments and management to troubleshoot questions or concerns posed by bankruptcy customers./ppBankruptcy Associates must have the ability to deal with challenging situations while maintaining compliance with strict bankruptcy guidelines. The ability to multitask and work independently is essential in this fast paced and detailed oriented environment./ppEssential duties and responsibilities include:/pulliHandle sensitive high volume inbound/outbound calls./liliAccept bankruptcy customer payments./liliProvide customers with accurate account information./liliMaintain working knowledge of company products and services./liliTransfer calls to appropriate departments or bankruptcy staff members./liliIdentify, research, and resolve customers concerns./liliDocument all accounts thoroughly./liliProcess bankruptcy validation requests including Bankruptcy Review Requests./liliContacting Bankruptcy law firms to confirm attorney retention and/or bankruptcy filing./liliAssist in preparing documents as necessary./liliProperly code accounts Bankruptcy when identified as bankruptcy./liliCommunicate professionally with internal and external customers, trustees and or attorneys./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulpEssential knowledge, skills, and licenses include:/pulliExcellent communication, listening and problem-solving skills./liliReliable attendance./liliProper grammar and email etiquette./liliType a minimum of 35 WPM./liliAbility to work under time constraints and daily deadlines./liliGood interpersonal skills and team work awareness./liliBi-lingual (Spanish) is preferred./liliAbility to understand complex bankruptcy matters./li/ulpEducation and/or experience include:/pulliCall Center Experience./liliBankruptcy Field Experience/li/ulpMachines, office equipment
