
divh2Occupancy Specialist/h2pAssist the Site Manager with the ongoing leasing and administrative functions of the property./ppVerification of the certification for all resident files; all program related activities are in compliance with the rules and regulations of all federal regulations, local public housing, and tax credit guidelines./ppVerify income eligibility and preferences of applicants, accurately compute family income./ppAssistance with tax credit evaluations, initial certifications, as well as recertifications/ppPrepare contracts, lease agreements, income changes, interim reviews, housing assistance payment adjustments, and/or withholding./ppProcess rent payments, work orders and purchase./ppAssist in the day-to-day administration of the low-income housing./ppHigh School diploma/GED and two years experience in property management/ppComputer literate, flexible and able to assist with all aspects of leasing and day-to-day property functions. Experience with Microsoft Office./ppAbility to perform accurate mathematical computations, good spelling, and grammar skills./ppExperience in the field of low-income housing and tax credit programs, particularly public housing, and Section Eight./ppClearly communication in a positive manner with the applicants and residents/ppExceptional organizational, oral, and written communications skills/ppMust have a valid drivers license./ppMust have ability to problem solve and resolve applicant and resident issues./ppYardi experience preferred./ppThis job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely utilizes standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers/printers, and filing cabinets./ppThis position requires sitting, bending, stooping, or standing as necessary.
