Position Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Amazon PPC Manager to lead client advertising campaigns and manage our growing PPC team. As a boutique agency, they pride themselves on delivering hands-on, strategic support to their clients. This role combines team leadership with direct client management, requiring someone who can both mentor junior team members and maintain strong client relationships while driving measurable results across diverse product categories. Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Campaign Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive Amazon PPC strategies for multiple client accounts across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display, and DSP campaigns Budget Management:
Manage client advertising budgets ranging from $20K to $200K+ monthly while maintaining target ACoS, TACoS, and ROAS goals Research & Analysis:
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market opportunity assessments for diverse product categories Campaign Optimization:
Optimize campaign structure, bidding strategies, and budget allocation across client portfolios Advanced Tactics:
Implement advanced PPC tactics including dayparting, placement optimization, and audience targeting Platform Staying Power:
Stay ahead of Amazon platform updates and test new advertising features for client benefit Team Leadership
Team Development:
Lead and mentor a small team of PPC specialists (2-4 team members) Processes & Quality:
Establish efficient workflows and SOPs for campaign management and client reporting Mentorship:
Provide hands-on training and quality assurance for junior team members Resource Management:
Delegate client accounts and campaigns based on team capacity and skill level Culture:
Foster a collaborative, learning-focused team culture in our boutique environment Client Management
Primary Contact:
Serve as primary point of contact for key client accounts Client Strategy:
Lead client strategy calls and quarterly business reviews Goal Translation:
Translate client goals into actionable PPC strategies Communication:
Communicate performance updates, insights, and recommendations clearly and proactively Expectations & Guidance:
Manage client expectations and provide consultative guidance on Amazon advertising best practices Growth & Retention:
Identify upsell opportunities and contribute to client retention efforts Analytics & Reporting
Reporting Dashboards:
Build and maintain customized reporting dashboards for client accounts Performance Reporting:
Deliver monthly performance reports with strategic insights and action items Audits & Optimization:
Conduct regular audits of client accounts to identify optimization opportunities A/B Testing:
Perform A/B testing on ad copy, creative assets, and bidding strategies Market Tracking:
Track competitor activity and market trends across client categories Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years of hands-on Amazon PPC management experience, preferably in an agency setting Proven experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously Track record managing combined monthly ad budgets of $100K+ with demonstrable ROI improvements 1-2+ years of team leadership or mentorship experience Strong client-facing communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships Deep expertise with Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Advertising Console Proficiency with PPC analytics and reporting tools (Helium 10, Jungle Scout, Pacvue, or similar) Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for data analysis and custom reporting Self-starter mentality with ability to manage priorities independently in a fast-paced environment Strong (C-level) written and verbal English communications skills Ability to work full-time EST aligned Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a digital marketing or Amazon-focused agency Exposure to Amazon DSP and Amazon Attribution Familiarity with third-party PPC management platforms (Perpetua, Teikametrics, Skai, etc.) Knowledge of Amazon SEO and organic ranking factors Experience across diverse product categories (consumables, electronics, home goods, etc.) Understanding of full-funnel marketing strategies Certification in Amazon Advertising Experience with client onboarding and new business pitches Key Competencies
