THE POSITION As a Sr. Director Purchasing here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in leading and managing the purchasing function within the Building Automation sector. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, technical leadership, and operational oversight to the purchasing teams, ensuring that procurement processes align with business objectives and drive efficiency.

You will report directly to our VP, Chief Procurement Officer and you’ll work out of our Atlanta, GA or Charlotte, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company's ability to optimize procurement strategies, enhance supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services essential for our operations in Building Automation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide strategic direction and leadership to the purchasing function within Building Automation.

Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of procurement projects and initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and achieve business objectives.

YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum of 8 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management roles.

Strong technical expertise in procurement strategies and supplier management.

Proven track record of successful project execution and delivery in a purchasing context.

Experience with negotiation and contract management processes.

Knowledge of industry trends and advancements in purchasing and supply chain management.

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior purchasing or supply chain role.

Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Ability to drive results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
