Brooklinen
Brooklinen is looking for a Senior Designer to join our Design team at an exciting moment of evolution. After building a strong foundation over our first decade, we’re expanding and diversifying our assortment — introducing more elevated color, pattern, texture, and layering across Bed & Bath.
This role is ideal for a designer who loves both creative exploration and hands‑on execution. You’ll work closely with a small, highly collaborative team — including our SVP of Design and Senior Color Designer — and play an active role across the full design lifecycle. We’re especially excited about designers who bring fresh perspectives from adjacent categories and enjoy approaching home through new lenses.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop bed & bath products from concept through production
Focus on color, texture, pattern, and materiality within flat textile constructions
Build and own complete tech packs, ensuring production readiness
Manage color approvals, material reviews, and technical sign‑offs
Maintain clear, organized documentation in PLM systems
Collaborate closely with Product Development, Merchandising, Sourcing, and Production
Take end‑to‑end ownership while contributing to a one‑team mindset
Adapt quickly to evolving creative direction and shifting priorities
Contribute research, references, and ideas to seasonal design conversations
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of product design experience (apparel, accessories, furniture, soft goods, or adjacent categories)
Strong tech pack creation and production documentation skills
A sharp eye for color, texture, and material storytelling
Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality and follow‑through
Comfortable working independently and cross‑functionally
Curious, optimistic, and eager to learn and iterate
Organized, adaptable, and comfortable with change
Nice to Have
Background in fashion or apparel, especially fast‑paced environments
Experience bringing perspective across categories (not limited to home)
Exposure to proprietary product development or custom materials
How You Work
Work intentionally, without unnecessary complexity
Bring a steady, grounded presence — even amid change
Value partnership over ego
Balance big‑picture thinking with attention to detail
Take ownership and pride in your work
Stay open, adaptable, and curious
Contribute to a supportive, inclusive team environment
Compensation We believe great work deserves thoughtful, competitive rewards. Base salary range: $110K–$120K, plus equity.
Up to 100% medical, dental, and vision coverage (employee‑only)
Fertility & family‑building support (up to $20K lifetime)
401(k) with 4% company match
16 weeks fully paid parental leave
20 vacation days (25 after 5 years) + year‑round Summer Fridays
Hybrid work (2 core in‑office days, Tues–Thurs)
Remote Thanksgiving week + last week of December
Up to 4 additional remote weeks/year with approval
40% employee discount + seasonal product allowance
One Medical, Talkspace, and $1K/year via Joon for wellness
One‑month paid sabbatical at 5 years
