MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT As a Senior/Lead Salesforce Developer, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. You will play a crucial role in Salesforce workflow applications and have an impact on high profile analytics programs. Responsibilities
Lead the designated implementation of Salesforce Service Cloud solutions. Design, build and support CTI integrations including call routing, screen pops, activity logging etc. Implement and manage Salesforce DevOps processes using Copado. 75% of this role involves programming, using Apex, Salesforce Lightning components (Aura/LWC), JavaScript, and other development languages and tools once fully onboarded. Candidate selected will either be a Lead (Development Lead for their Scrum Team) or Senior Developer, depending on the needs of the program. Develop Lightning components both by writing custom LWC in JavaScript with Aura framework and within the Salesforce Lightning Design System, maintaining fluency with Apex, SOQL, and SOSL. Support the Product Owner in gathering requirements by providing solution options and highlighting dependencies with the existing implementation. Oversee the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce Platform (Service Cloud, Experience Cloud – Portals, and Tableau CRM) and integrations. Develop and configure solutions using Salesforce functionality/Lightning Components (Aura and LWC), APEX, Visualforce Pages, SOQL, and SOSL, etc. What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of hands-on programming/custom coding experience with Salesforce platform, requiring LWC and APEX. Demonstrated experience should also include: SLDS, Visualforce, Triggers, Batch classes, SOQL, SOSL and declarative platform tools (Flows, Process Builder, Lightning App Builder, etc.). Valid Salesforce Platform Developer I Certification - Please include Trailblazer link and/or certification # on resume or in your Work Experience section of your application. Valid Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification - Please include Trailblazer link and/or certification # on resume or in your Work Experience section of your application. Extensive understanding of Salesforce.com best practices, Architecture, Design, Development, Administration, and security model. Technical skills: Hands-on experience with CTI Integrations (e.g., NICE CXone, Amazon Connect) and external system integrations. Experience implementing Salesforce Service Cloud implementations, including high-volume case management and omni-channel.
