What We Need Corpay is currently seeking a Director of Strategic Sales to join our Prepaid Sales team. This position falls under our Prepaid Payroll Solutions line of business and is located in Brentwood, TN. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business by identifying prospects and managing the full sales cycle from initial outreach through contract execution, implementation, and early-stage account growth. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and regularly collaborate with Implementation teams and other internal cross-functional teams.

Role Responsibilities The responsibilities of the role will include:

Identifying and securing new revenue opportunities using a consultative sales approach with HR Executives, Payroll Directors/Managers, and business owners

Prospecting and networking within the HRIS and payroll industry to develop new accounts and long-term business relationships

Educating prospects on Corpay’s Payroll and Prepaid card solutions to reduce employer costs while enhancing employee pay options

Managing the full sales cycle, including pricing, contract negotiation, and securing signed agreements

Completing RFPs when applicable and ensuring timely submission

Utilizing a strong understanding of Corpay systems and customer HRIS platforms to support successful implementation and integration

Partnering with customers throughout the implementation phase to drive adoption and accelerate revenue realizationRetaining and growing customer revenue for the first 13 months prior to transition to Relationship Management

Negotiating across pricing, terms, and employee benefit levers to secure profitable agreements

Managing special projects as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered

7 plus years of experience documented track record of sales success in financial services or related industries

Previous sales experience with strong negotiation skills

High level of organization with excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills

Ability to think strategically and apply targeted marketing messaging to drive prospect engagement

Strong analytical skills with a solid business foundation

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Experience with Salesforce.com preferred

Pay Transparency This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range depends on a number of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience training licenses and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $75,000-95,000 plus commission.
