Annual Bonus Senior Recruiter, Healthcare & Life Sciences at Larson Maddox
We are working with a national healthcare provider operating a large network of hospitals and services across the country. They are seeking an experienced Employment Counsel to take the lead on a wide variety of employment law matters, with a focus on litigation management and providing strategic counseling to senior leadership throughout the organization. This is a hybrid position (2 days/week on-site) and can be based at any of the organization's hospital locations. Locations across CA, NV, TX, AL, GA, KS, MO, IL, MI, OH, NJ, and PA. Considering candidates that are local or open to relocation. Responsibilities Provide legal guidance on employment issues including discrimination claims, wage and hour compliance, and employee separations. Oversee and manage employment litigation matters, including coordinating with outside counsel and responding to administrative claims. Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related agreements such as offer letters, separation agreements, and confidentiality agreements. Partner with HR and leadership to develop workplace policies, training, and compliance initiatives that mitigate legal risk. Stay current on developments in employment law and ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Qualifications J.D. and active bar membership in good standing. 6+ years of employment law experience (2+ YOE within a hospital setting). Significant experience managing employment litigation and handling administrative proceedings. Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance requirements. Seniority level
