Qualifications

• 5 - 8 years of experience in PR & Communications, with in-house experience at a high-velocity startup companies
• Demonstrated success landing Tier 1 and Tier 2 media coverage (e.g., WSJ, Forbes)
• Experience with data storytelling and narrative building
• Experience building PR from scratch at high-growth startups
• Track record with AI narrative positioning and SMB storytelling
• Experience in consumer tech or B2B tech for small businesses.
• High-velocity, team-of-one or small-team experience
• Located in San Francisco and able to work hybrid (2 days/week in office)

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a proactive PR strategy and roadmap, moving away from the current reactive agency model.
• Lead data storytelling initiatives, using proprietary data to shape compelling narratives about Main Street America and small businesses.
• Secure consistent Tier 1 and Tier 2 media coverage to elevate company\'s profile and build credibility.
• Drive the communications strategy around key company initiatives, including AI innovation and product launches.
• Act as a strategic, cross-functional partner, particularly with the data analytics team, to surface insights and build narratives
