Overview The Director of Community & Global Engagement will direct the University's Community Engagement and Continuing Education (CECE) programs and operations. Direct and coordinate Regent's study abroad program policies and procedures. Provide support to the other administrative operations in Academic Affairs including the Research Office.

Essential duties

Plan and resource courses, events, etc., leveraging the University's Canvas Catalog module.

Engage with instructors and assist with development of courses and other offerings, leveraging best practices in short course and module education.

Establish and maintain policy, subject to Provost approval.

Establish and maintain required procedures.

Establish and maintain records.

Coordinate marketing and distribution of courses with University Marketing, Advancement, academic units, and other stakeholders to optimize impact for the University.

Partner with course-offering units and the Business Office to set course tuition and/or fees that ensure CECE viability as a value-add to the University.

Direct the University's Study Abroad opportunities.

Manage approval process for opportunities.

Manage insurance and other documentation for compliance purposes and to mitigate risk.

Collaborate with the Registrar's Office, Office of Financial Aid, the Business Office, and Information Technology (IT) to ensure University support structures are suitable for opportunities.

Collaborate with IT and Marketing to ensure that opportunities are marketed appropriately.

Manage development and maintenance of MOUs with external study abroad entities. Serve as Point of Contact for MOUs and ensure that agreements are upheld.

As a member of the Academic Affairs team, participate in the "presence" of the office (greet guests, respond to general questions, etc.) and collaborate with team members to ensure continuity of operations during business hours.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Master's degree in relevant field preferred

5 years experience in higher education

Christian testimony and evidence of strong walk with Christ

Candidates must have:

Proven record of management for outcomes

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Demonstrated abilities as a strategic and critical thinker

Strong project management ability
